Repairs & re-tensioning
Torn sail? Start with a photo.
We repair seams, replace worn fittings and re-tension sails, including ones we didn’t install. Send a view of the whole structure and the damage so we can discuss the next step.
See repair & replacement options →Inspect. We assess the fabric, posts, fixings and tension before recommending work.
Repair or replace. Sound fabric may be re-stitched. Worn-out cloth needs a new membrane.
Reinstall. The sail is re-tensioned and checked before the area returns to use.

A home shade sail can be exempt if its size, height, position and site conditions meet the NSW rules. We discuss those checks at the measure, including whether an approval pathway needs to be confirmed before work. Council approval in NSW →
Will it survive Sydney storms and wind?+
The structure is designed for the wind loads at your site. Fabric, fixings, footings and exposure all matter; the engineering and care instructions set the limits. We can provide engineering certification on request.
Shade cloth or waterproof PVC?+
Shade cloth filters sun and lets air through. Waterproof PVC sheds rain through its membrane; the roof shape, drainage and open sides decide how much of the space stays dry. Choose around how you use the area.
How long will it last?+
Fabric, exposure, tension and care determine service life. Sound posts may outlast the membrane. Ask for the written warranty covering your chosen sail, including the fabric, workmanship and any conditions.

Can you provide engineering certification?+
Yes. On request we supply structural engineering certification for your sail or structure, covering footings, fixings and wind loading. Tell us about any council or project documentation requirements when you enquire.
