Repairs & re-tensioning
Torn sail? Fixed the same day.
Because we sew in our own Sydney factory, a damaged sail doesn’t mean weeks under the open sun. We take it down, repair the stitching, seams and hardware on our own benches, and tension it back up — all in the same day. We service sails we didn’t install, too.
Down. We unshackle the sail and inspect every fixing, cable and corner while it’s off.
Sewn. Re-stitched with UV-stable thread on our factory benches — seams, hems and cable pockets.
Back up. Re-tensioned, checked and photographed — shade restored before the day’s out.

Questions, answered.
Still unsure? Book a free on-site measure and we'll talk it through.
Ask us anythingDo I need council approval?+
Often not. Freestanding sails under ~20m² and within 3m of your home are usually exempt development in NSW. Anything near boundaries, attached to the house, or commercial may need approval — and we handle the paperwork, engineering and certificates for you either way.
Will it survive Sydney storms and wind?+
Yes. Every structure is engineered to the wind region for your site under the NSW codes, with fixings, footings and fabric specified to match. We can provide engineering certification on request, so it stands up to summer southerlies and winter fronts alike.
Shade cloth or waterproof PVC?+
Breathable shade cloth blocks up to 99% of UV while letting heat escape — ideal for pools and play areas. Waterproof PVC keeps rain out entirely, turning a patio into an all-weather outdoor room. We'll recommend the right membrane for how you actually use the space.
How long will it last?+
With the right fabric and tensioning, expect roughly 8–12 years from shade cloth and 10–15 years from waterproof PVC. Everything is backed by a full warranty, and because we manufacture in-house, repairs and re-tensioning down the track are straightforward.
How much does it cost?+
Every project is custom, so pricing depends on size, fabric, fixings and access. It starts with a free on-site measure, design and quote — no obligation — plus our price-match promise, so you get a fair, transparent figure before anything is made.
Can you provide engineering certification?+
Yes. On request we supply structural engineering certification for your sail or structure, covering footings, fixings and wind loading. It's often needed for council, commercial or educational projects — and it's part of how we guarantee what we build.
Cooler summers. Drier winters.
